Xtra Xtra ordinary!!! I don't have words to describe how outstanding my 36th birthday party was at Capital House Boutique Hotel. From the moment I contacted Tertia I was put on a whirlwind of 5 star service.Every request I had was granted! I knew I was in good hands with Tertia instantly. What a lovely relaxing evening we had. I have travelled to many beautiful places and stayed at some unique and wonderful hotels, but this place is truly amazing and one of a kind, right on my doorstep!Compliments to the chef as our food was a cut above every way! My hubby joined later the evening and we stayed over for the night in one of their exquisite rooms. We enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast on the patio overlooking parts of Pretoria. My day was truly made when I arrived and the friendly staff assisted my guests and they enjoyed a taste of luxury with their warm welcoming atmosphere. It was a night to remember and many parties in the future. To each and everyone that was there that night- you guys are gold!! - Stayed May 2015, travelled with friends

  • "A stay you will never forget"

By instance I found this treasure on a business trip and it was the most pleasent stay I ever had!!! These lovely people treated me like a royal and made my trip to Pretoria unforgetable. The premise is just stunning within this beautifull area and the room was amazing, as well the view from my balcony over Pretoria was spectecular. I had the feeling that every wish was fullfilled even before I was able to say it. I'm vegetarian and you can not imagin which miracles surprised me every day! In case I come back one day to Pretoria it's no question where I will stay! Thank you very much guys, you are exceptional!!!!!!! I wish you all the best and stay as you are: just great!!!!

  • "The Lions Club of Pretoria Jakaranda Presidential Induction"

I don't have enough words to describe the excellent service we received. Professional, friendly and the team went that extra mile. Nothing was to much trouble. The venue is breath taking, the food out of this world. Booked in the previous evening, felt like a Queen, a most delicious breakfast was served on our balcony with a panoramic view of our beautiful City. Tersia, Chanel, Shawn, Martin and Shorty "thank You" does not even begin to describe what you all meant to us. Patricia and The Lions from Pretoria Jakaranda loads of hugs and kisses.

  • "Burns Night par Excellence"

Creative event-planning, Super service, Outstanding quality food, Attention to the smallest of detail, Spot-on timing, Stylish decor, Super organised
Every member of the staff walked the extra mile and way beyond! Haggis served with "tatties and neeps" are not often regarded as a feast for the eyes... However when it it prepared by Capital House it becomes delectable. Many would serve cheese boards, however when you visit Capital House, you are being treated to a cheese table.

  • "A 5-stars hotel with 5-stars services"

We had an amazing stay in Capital House Hotel! The room is wonderful, cosy and comfortable, exactly what we needed after a 12-hours flight. The food was delicious and everyone was so helpful and kind. Plus, the area is super safe, as there are many embassies around, which I greatly appreciated. We highly recommend that place, as we would definitely stay there again if we come back to Pretoria.

  • "Wonderful location, beautiful mansion, amazing furniture - best stop on way to Kruger"

This is a fantastic place to stay for a few days on your way in or out of Kruger.
The hotel itself is just gorgeous; high ceilings, antique furniture, gorgeous wrought iron.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are really exquisite and the view of Pretoria is wonderful.
We have stayed several times, the safety and location of Capital House are simply unparalleled in Pretoria.

  • "Unforgettable Stay"

I stayed here for one night and had an amazing time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - A special thanks to everyone who went out of their way to make me feel at home. I was allocated one of the suites in the new section of the hotel - It was beautifully decorated, extremely spacious and luxurious, and had a breathtaking view of the mountains. I felt like royalty! What sets this place apart from other similar boutique hotels is its character - the meticulous attention to detail, and antique decor in particular. The breakfast was amazing and very beautifully presented - Like nothing i have seen before. In short - A little gem in a quiet and very prestigious neighborhood. I will definitely return.

  • "Cannot recommend highly enough!!"

We stayed at Capital House for about 10 days and had an exceptional stay. During our stay, we were in two different rooms, both of which were very comfortable. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, all the amenities needed. The wifi worked well and was quite fast. The included breakfast was always delicious, and we ended up having dinner at Capital House most nights of our stay as well and were always impressed by the food. Everything is kept beautifully clean. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job, and the grounds are kept tidy. Everything about Capital House is peaceful. We enjoyed laying by the pool on sunny days, and the other outdoor areas were beautiful. We also really loved how private everything felt and how quiet it was. Location-wise, Capital House was within walking distance to a cute cafe and small grocery store. It was a very short driving distance to a large mall and other restaurants we enjoyed during our stay, and our hosts as Capital House were always willing to help us figure out transportation when we needed it. The real reason we loved our stay, though, was the amazing people who run Capital House. Chanel, Sean, and Tertia are the kindest hosts we’ve ever encountered. They made us feel welcome, went above and beyond to make us comfortable during our stay, and always had such good attitudes about everything. We truly can’t recommend Capital House enough!! You won’t regret your decision to stay here.

  • "Gorgeous hotel, outstanding service, unforgettable experience"

My husband and I traveled to South Africa from USA to visit Kruger National Park. We were greeted and welcomed at Capital House Boutique Hotel as if we were family! We stayed in the Studio. It's large and immaculate, quite comfortable with lots of windows and light. While this room would be great for business, it suited our needs just as well. We felt much safer staying here and were glad we chose this option rather than staying in Johannesburg. It’s not a long drive to the Johannesburg Airport. The staff helped us choose options for ordering dinner in our room our first evening, and our breakfast served the following morning on our veranda was exceptional! After breakfast, I had a mild medical problem that while not serious, was scary for me. The owner came to my assistance and stayed with me to be sure I was alright. All the while, she and the entire staff went above and beyond what necessary to help calm my fears until the episode had completely passed. I shall never forget their professional help, but what touched my heart most was their kindness and compassion that was extraordinary. Staying at Capital House Boutique Hotel was one of the highlights of our trip, and I hope we can make it back there again one day. If you travel to South Africa, I highly recommend that you choose Capital House for your stay. You will not be disappointed!!
